Care Instructions

All I hate my skirt Jewellery pieces have a special tarnish resistant protective layer applied over the plating for a long lasting finish. However, this layer is also susceptible to wear and tear, so the following care instructions should be followed to maximise the life of your jewellery.

We do not recommend wearing your jewellery in the water. Although plain water is less harmful, chlorinated pools, soaps and shampoos etc and salt water can be quite corrosive and will lessen the life of your jewellery.

Avoid your gold plated jewellery coming into contact with perfume or lotions. The chemicals may react with the plating and cause it to wear off prematurely.

Excessive heat or moisture will deteriorate the protective layer and plating on the metal, so please store in a cool, dry place.

To clean gold plated jewellery buff gently with a soft clean cloth. Do not use chemically treated jewellery cloths on your plated jewellery.
